Installing as a VM on ESXi1

  • 2 cores
  • 2GB RAM
  • 32GB Drive

huh... It may have automatically installed open-vm-tools...

Holy Crap! It did! Cool!

Too bad it doesn't automatically install openssh-server.

Still has the old issue of Cinnamon wanting better video hardware... But that was expected.

65 updates available... uh huh... (It's only been out a week...)

Well... The installation process is pretty much same as always. (Aside from no longer needing to install open-vm-tools)

Upgrading from 19.3

Now that they've updated the updater to tell you you can upgrade...

WTF? It just points you at the website for instructions.

& the upgrade takes FOR-BLOODY-EVER...

Probably better off just doing a fresh install instead.

More to come as I try it out.
