sudo apt-get install tightvncserver
sudo apt-get install xrdp
- In THAT order!
- Test:
sudo service xrdp status
- RDP does not like Cinnamon... (apparently 3d is bad)
- It does run... but crashes on login & runs in fallback mode
- Install a 2D WM...
- XFCE
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xfce4
echo xfce4-session >~/.xsession
Or... You know... install it from the package manager...
mint-meta-xfce

- nope...
- kde
- meh... clunky & awkward
- XFCE
